Perins Peak Original Watercolor 13x9 Painting
$284.00

This watercolor piece started it all for me! I painted this after hiking up Horse Gulch trails in Durango, CO. I was presented with this stunning view of Perin’s, fall colors and all. This piece the became my first postcard print ever! This is a milestone piece for me. I’ll never forget how it felt to have it professionally matted.

For a long time, the only ones who saw my art were my brush and myself. Hence, the name Brush & Brook was born! I have always loved that I was named after a stream (a babbling brook) so it felt right to use that spelling in my company name.

I have loved painting for as long as I can remember, but I have not always been so good about sharing it. I’ve found out recently just how rewarding it can be to share the art I create. I sell online with my shop on my website here, but I also sell wholesale to local gift and coffee shops, and I have my eyes on selling at many local markets next year.

The community of Durango, CO supports local art so voraciously, as I’ve learned! I am so happy to be an artist here, surrounded by so many beautiful mountains and people. If you like my style and want to collaborate on a piece, send me a line! And if you want to follow my art journey on Instagram or Facebook, I’d be happy to connect with you there.

Thanks for stopping by.
